What Did You Say? - Pt. 2

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

Mark 11:23 NKJV

There are two points I want to make from this verse that are vital to our walk of faith. First, Jesus told us to speak to the mountain. He didn’t say pray about the mountain. He didn’t say ask God to do something about the mountain. He told US to speak directly to the mountain! He has given us His faith and His authority and it’s up to us to use it!

Second, Jesus told us to “say” three times in this passage. He said “believe” one time and “don’t doubt” one time, but “say” three times. That was not an exaggeration or mistake on His part. Speaking out our faith is 3 times more important than believing and not doubting. We should be doing both of those things, but we need to be “saying” three times more!

Our words are so important to our walk of faith. If you continue to say what you have, you’re going to continually have what you say. As you start believing God and His word, make sure it’s coming out of your mouth!

Be Blessed and Encouraged,

John
