John is passionate about helping Christians reach their highest potential through partnership with the Holy Spirit, prospering God’s way and realizing their faith in God and His word.

After being born again at the age of 17, John Essy exercised his independence from the Lord until 1993. At that time, He rededicated his life to the Lord and immediately recognized the call to ministry on his life. He has passionately and fervently pursued that call ever since. At God’s direction, John enrolled in Charis Bible College in Colorado and graduated in 1999 with his ministerial license. After graduating from Charis, God led him into many different areas of ministry in the local church—elder, associate pastor, children’s pastor, worship leader and Sunday school instructor.

In 2012, John planted a church in Pennsylvania and was the senior pastor for 7 years. John has traveled throughout the world, strengthening churches and congregations on nearly every continent by preaching the gospel of God’s unconditional love and grace.

Most recently, John serves as the Director of A.R.M.I. Operations for Andrew Wommack Ministries in Woodland Park, Colorado, overseeing administrative operations of that ministerial organization. John has been married to his lovely wife Leslie for 34 years, and they’ve raised three fantastic children—Joshua, Samuel and Rachel—who all reside on the East Coast of the United States.
